Academic Coaching

We provide students with wide-ranging academic support until they have met their educational goals. Our work includes (but is not limited to):
- working with students to create a realistic educational plan and timeline
- assisting with preparation of application materials for college and graduate school admission
- ongoing advising, tutoring, and other academic support
- supporting research projects led by justice-impacted individuals
Digital Literacy

Colleges and Universities, like the rest of the world, have restructured student learning post-covid to rely very heavily on digital tools and platforms. We have found that digital literacy is one of the main challenges facing students working to finish their degrees on the outside and for early professionals seeking career opportunities. We offer one-on-one orientation and training sessions for:
- Zoom
- digital classroom spaces
- learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)
Professional Development

For individuals entering the workforce, we work closely with early professionals to:
- set professional goals
- conduct job searches
- revise resumes and cover letters
- prepare for interviews
- follow up with employers
Networking & Community

We are committed to creating accessible, digital community spaces for formerly incarcerated scholars. We organize study sessions, book groups, and creative and academic writing spaces online.
