Molly Reed

Co-Founder / Academic Navigator

Molly has taught writing and history courses to exceptional students in prison since 2015. After earning her doctorate in History from Cornell University in 2021, she served as an academic coordinator with CPEP for two and a half years. In this role, she served in an advisory capacity to over 60 incarcerated students as they navigated their college coursework. She is passionate about increasing accessibility for formerly incarcerated people to academic spaces beyond the classroom, including finding pathways to research and publishing. Molly is also an academic editor and has published scholarly articles and essays on pedagogy in Environmental History, the Journal of American History, and the American Historical Association’s  Perspectives on History.
